Seiler LLP, one of the nation’s leading advisory, tax and accounting firms in the high-net-worth space, is pleased to announce it has appointed Marla Sari to the role of Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).
“Marla has shown remarkable initiative since joining Seiler more than a decade ago, playing an essential role in growing the firm to nearly double its revenue,” said George D. Marinos, Chief Executive Officer of Seiler. “Her leadership has been indispensable to the firm’s ability to open new offices, boost transparency and efficiency, and streamline reporting and tax management processes. I’m confident that in her new position as Chief Administrative Officer she will continue to strengthen the capabilities of the firm and her team.”
As CAO, Sari will head up Seiler’s operations, IT, administrative, and facilities teams, managing some 25 people from the firm’s Redwood City headquarters. Sari, who most recently served as Seiler’s Managing Director of Administration, has more than 30 years of experience in IT and operational management with a focus in professional services.
Prior to joining Seiler in 2007 she worked as an IT systems administrator, programmer, and project manager. At the firm, she has leveraged her programming expertise to overhaul processes, software and reporting standards, while also overseeing many of the firm’s expansion efforts and solidifying risk management and tax planning procedures.
“It’s been a pleasure to help facilitate Seiler’s growth over the years, and a pleasure to work at a firm with a real – and rare – commitment to helping facilitate the professional development and leadership capabilities of non-accounting staff like me,” said Sari. “I look forward to continuing to enhance and expand Seiler’s services as well as the opportunities available to our talented team.”
Sari is a member of numerous professional associations such as the CPA Firm Management Association and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and internal groups including the management committee at Seiler’s San Francisco office. In her personal time, Sari enjoys supporting her community through volunteer work at the American Legion and the Fisher House Foundation, which promote patriotism and provide assistance to U.S. veterans and their families. She holds bachelor’s degrees in business administration and computer science from Notre Dame de Namur University.
