Joe Fernandez, CPA | Tax Partner, Seiler LLP
Fernandez, a CPA with more than 15 years of experience, specializes in cross-border tax compliance and planning for high-net-worth individuals and families, as well as international tax for privately held businesses. His knowledge of global tax reporting and compliance also includes expertise around in-bound and out-bound planning and reporting.
“It’s an honor to join the partnership and to advance my career with the extraordinary professionals at Seiler,” said Fernandez, who holds a Master’s degree in Taxation from Florida International University. “Our client base has increasing need for global tax expertise, and it’s exciting to consider how my area of specialization can both benefit our clients, as well as equip the next generation of advisors in this area of specialization.”
Chaka Lockhart, CPA | Family Office Partner, Seiler LLP
Lockhart, a CPA and formerly a managing director of Seiler’s Family Office group, has more than 20 years of experience overseeing personal financial and administrative services for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, as well as private foundations. Her experience encompasses all areas of personal financial management, accounting reporting and analysis, and domestic employee matters.
“My tenure at Seiler has been profoundly rewarding, and it’s been a rare opportunity to have been a part of the Seiler Family Office group’s explosive growth over the past few years,” said Lockhart, who is also a board member for Headlands Center for the Arts. “This promotion is tremendously meaningful to me personally for a lot of reasons, but especially because I look forward to continuing in the most interesting role I’ve ever had, working with extraordinary leaders and professionals.”
Tyler Stuckey, CPA | Tax Partner, Seiler LLP
Stuckey, a tax advisor and CPA with more than a decade of experience, has spent his entire professional career at Seiler. He specializes in working with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, trusts, real estate entities, and privately held companies. His expertise includes tax advisory around complex financial transactions and client representation for tax audits and investigations.
“My story is unique, having started my career at Seiler and now making partner this year,” said Stuckey, who holds a Master’s degree in Accountancy from Golden Gate University. “Seiler has always felt like more than just a place to work for me – it’s been full of incredible opportunities to be mentored by senior leaders, to serve some of the world’s most influential people, and to work alongside some of the sharpest, hardest working people I’ve ever met.
