Seiler LLP, one of the nation’s leading advisory, tax, and accounting firms in the high-net-worth space, announced today that it has promoted Lupita McLane, formerly the firm’s Director of Human Resources, to Chief People Officer.
“Since Lupita joined Seiler 13 years ago, the firm has more than doubled in size and expanded to four locations. This is not a coincidence,” said George D. Marinos, Chief Executive Officer of Seiler. “An organization’s reputation and brand are a function of the people who work there, and Lupita has been instrumental in creating and cultivating a culture that allows our employees to thrive in all areas that are important and meaningful to them. Her new role is a natural evolution for someone of her exceptional talents. We are thrilled at her many accomplishments in getting here and look forward to those that are sure to come.”
As Chief People Officer, McLane leads all aspects of the human resources function that support the firm’s growth, profitability, and evolving business needs. She is responsible for driving the firm’s people management strategy, including talent planning and acquisition, professional development, diversity and inclusion initiatives, benefits and compensation, and more. She also advises senior executives, oversees employee engagement and relations, and provides oversight for the firm’s performance management procedures.
“It’s been a privilege to be part of an amazing group of people and work alongside an incredible leadership team that has supported my career growth through direction, guidance, and mentorship. I’m passionate about helping others reach their full potential and elevating HR as a strategic influencer and driver of business performance and growth,” said McLane. “I’m proud of Seiler’s culture of shared values, transparency, inclusiveness, and active employee engagement, and am excited to continue to help spearhead our next phase of scaling and innovation.”
During McLane’s tenure, Seiler has been named one of the “Best Places to Work” by the San Francisco Business Times and Silicon Valley Business Journal, recognized by INSIDE Public Accounting as a “Fastest-Growing Firm,” and ranked a “Top 100 Firm” by Accounting Today. She joined Seiler in 2006 and was named Director of Human Resources in 2015. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Notre Dame de Namur University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in HR Management from Menlo College, as well as senior-level certifications from the HR Certification Institute and the Society for Human Resource Management.
