The non-profit audit group is a vital part of Seiler’s practice and we are committed to bringing the highest level of knowledge and skills to our clients.

Seiler LLP has a long history of providing audit and assurance services to non-profit organizations and private foundations. To demonstrate our commitment to this segment, we have formed a dedicated team of professionals with an average of 18 years of experience in the industry. Our audit team includes partners, principals and managers who offer the hands-on involvement, continuity and close collaboration that ensures each engagement is given the consistently superior service for which Seiler is known.

We understand the specific financial and operational environments in which non-profit organizations function. We also know the challenges and opportunities inherent in ongoing funding activities, limited budgets and efficient staffing. Because of our long background in serving non-profit clients, as well as our involvement on non-profit boards, volunteering and financial support, Seiler professionals are uniquely equipped to provide the highest level of knowledge and advice.

The Audit Plan

Our first priority is understanding a client’s business. We begin with a series of in-depth meetings to identify revenue sources, risks,

challenges and opportunities. We develop a thorough knowledge of each client’s particular circumstances and are able to develop an audit plan that is unique to each organization.

We believe that clear and consistent communication is key, and deadlines and priorities should be honored at all times. We meet frequently with management as well as with our clients’ audit and finance committees. We then work closely with management to resolve any issues that arise and to provide specific recommendations.
