Jim Boyle

Jim is a Managing Director for Seiler’s Family Office practice, which provides a wide range of strategic and administrative financial planning services to some of the Bay Area’s most affluent and successful entrepreneurs and families. He holds expertise in the following disciplines:

• Preparation of quarterly and yearly financial reporting packages
• Preparation of annual budgets
• Venture Capital investment reporting, administration of capital calls & distributions
• Payroll processing, human resource matters & benefit administration
• Insurance reviews
• Coordination of supporting documentation for tax return preparation
• Entity annual report filings
• Preparation of 1099s, Business Property Taxes
• Oversight of cash management & accounts payable/receivable process
• VC partnership and private foundation audit support
• Ad hoc analysis and various projects as needs arise in the course of business

With 20 years of experience, Jim is the team lead on multiple client engagements to perform family office accounting & reporting functions for high-net-worth individuals with multi-entity estates.

Jim started his career as a tax technician for PricewaterhouseCoopers. Prior to joining Seiler in 2014, he served as a Controller for Opportunity Fund, Assistant Controller for Tallwood Venture Capital, Senior Accountant for myCFO, and Staff Accountant for the San Jose Sharks.
